Job Summary
The Insights Manager will be responsible for the development, analysis, communication and socialization of meaningful insights and trends that support development of strategies that drive total category growth while profitably growing CooperVision US revenue. The role will elevate CooperVision’s overall expertise to become a knowledge resource that brings thought leadership to CooperVision’s most important strategic customers.

Advanced use of custom & market research, data synthesis & translating insights into relevant, usable, actionable strategic and tactical recommendations
Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to manage diverse, remote and cross-functional teams inside & outside of CVI
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. Prior experience developing and presenting insights and action plans.
Excellent applied qualitative and quantitative analytic skills
Strong project management and organization skills
Hands-on go-getter, willing to roll up his/her sleeves and personally act to drive success
Experience in managing market research vendors
Work Environment:
Office-based with some travel to other CVI locations, customer sites and industry events.
Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job.
There will be extended periods of sitting and using a computer.
Travel, predominantly domestic, approximately 15-20%
Experience:
Minimum seven years of experience one or more of the following areas:

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $55.00 and $75.00 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
Essential functions:
Lead subject matter expert in relevant insight and trends, including but not limited to:
Global trends
Economic, legislative, demographic, financial trends
Consumer/Patient trends
Optical and Contact Lens Category trends
Competitive landscape
Works closely with global teams to ensure the efficient use of in house research and provide input on new research to support account and marketing impact
Links multiple data points to identify trends and impact on CooperVision’s business
Acts as a knowledge resource for the organization, and communicates information and insights that are easy to understand and are customer presentation ready
Develops and continually updates a comprehensive insights repository relevant across accounts and shared througout the organization
Maintains database of account and doctor profiles. Develops doctor business profiles to shape marketing strategies and field sales execution
Partners with commercial teams to help translates insights into meaningful business opportunities
Responsible for understanding the type of consumer information and insight accounts require to support the effective implementation of the marketing plan
Collaborate with Corporate Account teams to develop, generate and translate customer insights into strategies and tactics that drive performance
Partner with accounts to increase access to category data and analyze to identify insights, trends and category opportunities
Provide insights to help develop programs to drive increased contact lens penetration in key accounts. Share best practices across accounts
Become the expert in contact lens consumer behavior, and front of house store behavior and how that can be used to maximize our customers and our business.
Conducts ‘brainstorming’ sessions to develop new marketing solutions, tactical programs, testable hypotheses and solutions methods based on consumer insights
Actively participates in the development of marketing/account plans by providing knowledge that enables plan strategies and tactics
Works with Customer Marketing to identify opportunities, gaps for specific research to support priority account plan needs. Conducts custom research designed to understand the account’s consumer and their marketing mix triggers. Accountable for the selection and management of external agencies.
