Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content Manager to lead our content creation, SEO, public relations, social media, and thought leadership initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving top-of-funnel awareness, shaping our brand identity, and positioning our company as a leader in the technical documentation and learning & development software industry. This position reports to the SVP, Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation:
Lead the creation of engaging and informative content, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and videos
Collaborate with internal teams to develop thought leadership assets showcasing industry expertise
Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging strategy
Develop high-quality, engaging content such as blog articles, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, and multimedia assets to support brand messaging and thought leadership
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customer advocates to identify and create new content opportunities
Social Media Management:
Plan, execute, and manage social media strategies across platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook
Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and inquiries to build a loyal online community
Maintain and update the content calendar to ensure consistent brand presence
SEO Strategy:
Work with digital agency to develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and drive website traffic
Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content audits to identify optimization opportunities
Collaborate with content creators to ensure all website copy is SEO-optimized and aligned with best practices
Public Relations:
Work with PR agency to develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation
Assist in crafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership articles
Thought Leadership:
Identify opportunities for executive speaking engagements, awards, and industry panel participation
Oversee the development of high-impact presentations, webinars, and reports to position the company as an industry leader
Brand Strategy:
Develop and maintain a clear and compelling brand narrative that resonates with target audiences
Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand assets, ensuring consistency across all channels
Other duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
5+ years of experience in brand management, communications, SEO, and content creation, preferably in B2B or SaaS
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience in software or technology B2B environments; ad agency experience is a plus.
Expertise in tools like Hubspot, Sprout Social, Canva, Figma
Knowledge of video content creation and distribution strategies

Salary Range: $90,000 – $105,000
