Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inside and outside sales, with proven experience in technical sales and the ability to analyze market trends. Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within the region.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance on best practices in direct and inside sales.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
Engage in cold calling efforts to generate leads and expand the customer base.
Foster strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling additional products or services.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis for upper management.
Qualifications
Proven experience in insurance sales, outside sales, or direct sales roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Demonstrated success in managing a sales team and achieving targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Familiarity with CRM software and other sales management tools is preferred.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution is essential.
