The Property Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the creation and implementation of B2C marketing strategies to support property operations business to achieve brand, lead generation, and leasing targets. Reporting to the Managing Director of Marketing and Leasing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a “best-in-class” customer centric marketing program that aligns with RPMG’s business model and client goals.
Essential Job Functions
Lead market-wide property marketing initiatives to drive lead generation and deliver on leasing and revenue targets for RPMG and RPMG clients.
Generate property-specific marketing plans and media schedules based on competitor analysis, client media budgets, and annual leasing goals.
Provided digital marketing expertise in online brand reputation, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and content feeds to ensure each community has a strong digital footprint to drive necessary traffic.
Work with 3rd party vendor partners and creative agencies to manage and execute multi-channel advertising strategies, including PPC, SEM, SEO, ILS, email, social media, reputation management, print collateral, signage, and overall property presentation with the latest technology.
Provide training both in the corporate setting with large groups, and with smaller groups on-site to ensure Marketing best practices are understood and adhered to throughout the portfolio.
Deliver timely/accurate budgets and marketing performance reports to external and internal stakeholders that clearly explain program effectiveness, benchmarks, and opportunities.
Provide direction on the social strategy, public relations and event and resident engagement strategy of properties.
Speak to marketing efforts and results, and make thoughtful recommendations on calls with clients/ownership.
Partner with on-site teams to support all marketing efforts, training and strategy needed to drive success.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analyze local market trends and make strategic marketing recommendations.
Must be present on-site and be able to move throughout the building to address marketing matters, including exceptional communication skills to meet with staff and visitors.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs and be comfortable with exposure to varying environmental climates and circumstances.
Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate and/or property marketing
Proficiency in navigating computers and community management software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), iLuvLeasing and Yardi.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to proof written materials, presentations, and marketing collateral
Capable of managing multiple projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
Experience planning and executing electronic marketing campaigns across various channels
Comfortable interacting with senior executives and clients, demonstrating diplomacy, professionalism, and confidence
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong analytical skills for compiling and organizing metrics and reporting data
High level of initiative, work ethic, and willingness to support various functions as needed
Proven track record of creative contributions, problem-solving, and improving team efficiency and productivity
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities under pressure.
