About The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Director to join our team at Precedent to lead all aspects of our growing marketing function. As Marketing Director, you will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at driving brand awareness, generating qualified leads for our sales team, and collaborating closely with our product team to align marketing initiatives with current product capabilities and the product roadmap. You will be instrumental in cost-effectively expanding our presence amongst injury plaintiff law firms of all sizes and, ultimately, amongst insurance carriers, playing a key role in shaping the growth and success of our company. What You’ll Do
Develop and lead the marketing capability within Precedent
Collaborate with the product team to align marketing strategy and messaging with product development and roadmap
Partner with the sales team to optimize lead generation, nurture programs, and conversion strategies
Develop a unified marketing strategy to cost-effectively drive brand awareness across multiple channels and to diverse audiences (law firms and insurance carriers of all sizes), and execute that strategy
Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance and ROI, and take action based on key insights
Oversee brand management to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity in all communication channels
Stay informed about market trends and competitive landscape to refine marketing tactics and strategy
Plan and manage the marketing budget to optimize resource allocation and ROI
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Demonstrated success in creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive measurable results
Proven track record of brand development and management
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, sales, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be proactive, creative, data-driven, and results-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
B2B marketing in the LegalTech or legal services industry
Developing lead generation programs and nurturing pipelines in collaboration with sales teams
Creative and cost-effective marketing tactics across digital and offline channels
Marketing analytics and performance measurement
Content strategy and development for SaaS and professional services
Coordinating with product teams to ensure alignment of marketing messaging and product offerings
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range $135K – $185K with a 15% bonus opportunity, commensurate with experience
Fully remote work environment
