Job Description:
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The role of Marketing Engineer has global responsibility within the Power Division. The Marketing Engineer is responsible for creating marketing collateral that best represents the division, working with MARCOM and the Product lines to help improve presentations, data sheets, the website, videos and other supporting collateral material.
The Marketing Engineer will help with online calculator tools that are competitive with our key competitors. The Marketing Engineer will help raise awareness of reference design activity, creating marketing campaigns and working on the most applicable social media sites. The Marketing Engineer will help to promote both standard products and customized solutions.
Focus on customs should include production capabilities as well as engineering, test, simulation and prototyping capabilities. The Marketing Engineer will market the capabilities of different sites and tailor the messages for specific applications and market segments (e.g. EVs, AI, renewable energy, energy storage). The Marketing Engineer shall work with distribution partners and catalogue houses to help increase our presence on their sites.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):
Responsible for creating marketing collateral that best represents the division. Working with MARCOM and the Product lines to help improve presentations, data sheets, the website, videos, and other supporting collateral material.
Work with engineering and MARCOM to launch online calculator tools.
Create awareness of reference design activity with media promotion.
Launch marketing campaigns and work on the most applicable social media sites (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter / X), to promote new products or targeted segments (e.g. EVs, AI, renewable energy, energy storage).
Create key content to promote custom magnetic capabilities such as production capabilities, engineering, test, simulation, and prototyping capabilities.
Develop support material that helps best place the Power Division for sales growth with key distribution partners.
Create collateral material that specifically targets catalogue houses to help increase our presence / mind share on their sites.
Briefing stakeholders on marketing materials production (PR, Media, Advertising) and updating on progress.
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrable experience in marketing management, preferably in the electronics industry. Other industries can also be considered such as automotive, renewable energy, other technology.
Expertise in SEO, Google AdWords, social media management, and content creation.
Other relevant marketing collateral creation software
OTHER SKILLS:
Strong analytical, project management, visualisation and reporting skills.
Proven track record to use own initiative and take full responsibility for aspects of a project.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with a range of levels and teams.
A high level of English communication is required for clear customer communication globally.
Excellent communication skills required to present materials as well as the ability to decipher the needs of others.
Excellent written and presentation skills required to present complex issues and strategies
COMMUNICATIONS:
Strong oral communication that can communicate a high level of creative thinking.
Creative writing style to ensure content is created that is consistent and attractive to targeted end customers.
SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:
Scheduling and planning is a key aspect to ensure campaigns are launched on time and all key activities are achieved and met.
High-level creative thinking and design capabilities – while keeping an eye on budgets and business guidelines/policies.
Proficiency in turning projects around with tight timeframes and deadlines.
Excellent planning and organisation skills and be confident with budgeting and project management.
SALARY RANGE:
$80,000 – $100,000
