Summary/objective

The Marketing & Events Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events and marketing initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role includes logistical coordination, promotional efforts, and administrative support to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and generate leads. The specialist also ensures all communications and campaigns reflect the company’s brand standards and values.

Essential functions

Event Planning and Coordination

Event Preparation:
Develop creative event concepts and themes aligned with company objectives.
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
Set up, manage, and tear down events, ensuring smooth execution.
Build and manage event rosters using CRM.
Oversee event-day tasks, including food orders, name tags, and attendee coordination.
Assign tasks to team members and ensure accountability during events.
Post-Event Follow-Up:
Track and analyze event performance, including attendance, engagement, and ROI metrics.
Ensure follow-up communications with attendees and leads post-event.
Record seminars and workshops for repurposing as webinars or training materials.

Marketing Strategy and Implementation

Campaign Development:
Assist with digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including email and social media.
Asist with creating promotional materials, such as flyers, social media posts, and email templates.
Assist with social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Content & Brand Management:
Assist with content writing, script development, and presentation creation.
Design graphics and branding materials in compliance with company standards.
Submit marketing materials to Compliance for review and approval.
Engagement Tools:
Send mass text and email campaigns to engage prospects and clients.
Utilize tools to manage and schedule client and internal meetings.
Scrub mail and digital contact lists for targeted campaigns.

Administrative Support

Data Management:
Update and maintain client and event information in CRM, including list pulls, data entry, and cleanup.
Request, submit, and manage invoices and receipts for marketing and event activities.
Internal Coordination:
Manage calendars, ensuring vacations, conferences, and other commitments are reflected.
Coordinate cluster rotations and support scheduling needs.
Reporting:
Track metrics related to marketing and event ROI, and prepare detailed reports for review.
Analyze and refine campaigns based on performance data.

Additional Responsibilities

Coordinate Impact Cares community relations events.
Attend networking and public relations events to build brand visibility.
Assist in securing speaking engagements for the CEO and Advisors.
Collaborate with digital vendors and attend relevant training sessions to enhance expertise.

Preferred education and experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Additional eligibility requirements

Current valid government issued ID
Ability to work evening events and a few Saturday morning events per quarter.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
