Marketing Executive – £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

· Supporting the Marketing Manager in completing agreed activities

· Contribute creative ideas for new campaigns, content and engagement strategies.

· Research industry trends and competitor activity to suggest fresh marketing approaches.

· Assist in writing press releases, articles and blog content.

· Assist in management of external suppliers (gathering information, compiling briefs, sourcing images, videos etc)

· Use design tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva) to create and edit marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency.

· Assist with updates, improvements and performance analytics across digital platforms (website, email marketing and social media platforms)

· Help develop marketing collateral (brochures, case studies, presentations)

· Support email marketing initiatives, including drafting campaigns and segmenting audiences.

· Assist in planning and promoting B2B events and attending exhibitions.

· Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for marketing materials and approvals.

· Help manage budgets, invoices and supplier relationships.

· Manage your own workflow, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brief, and to the highest standards.

· Take responsibility for the quality, presentation, and accuracy of your work. · Follow internal processes and contribute to achieving departmental goals.

Education/Qualifications and Training

Essential:

Marketing qualification Level 4 or above Desirable · Degree qualified in Digital/Marketing related discipline

Relevant Experience/Skills/Knowledge

Creativity & idea generation – Ability to contribute fresh marketing ideas and assist in brainstorming for campaigns.

An eye for detail – Passion for aesthetics and accuracy in marketing materials.

Strong written communication – Ability to write engaging and professional content.

Basic graphic design skills – Familiarity with tools like Photoshop, InDesign and Canva

Digital marketing awareness -Understanding of websites, social media platforms and analytics.

Self-motivated and proactive – Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently.

Open to feedback – A team player who can adopt to feedback and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environment.

Continuous learning mindset – Willingness to develop new skills and stay up to date with marketing trends.

Desirable

Hands-on marketing experience through university project, internship or a previous role ·

Experience handling social media platforms either personally or for a brand.

Basic photography and video editing skills.

Familiarity with WordPress for web

This is an office based role – 5 days a week in our Leeds Head office.
