Due to our continuing growth as a business, we are looking to grow our creative team with a new Marketing Executive. The role will report to the Marketing & Events Lead.

SPARK is a vibrant hub of independent businesses, located in the heart of York and housed within a unique recycled shipping container complex. We are home to a diverse range of food, drink, and retail vendors along with SPARK Studios, a co-working space, maker space, and event venue that supports 100 community groups annually. About the Role
We are seeking a creative and passionate Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level candidate with a strong foundation in photography and social media management to contribute significantly to SPARK’s marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
The creation and delivery of SPARK’s social media strategy, particularly across channels like Instagram.
Managing all designer, photographer and videographer relationships.
Manage the monthly marketing budget alongside the Marketing & Events Lead.
Development and management of the overall SPARK branding.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote SPARK.
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and mediums.
Content creation for all digital and physical platforms.
Photography output for social platforms.
Create, design & execute on specific marketing campaigns with the support of the Marketing & Events Lead
Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience in social media management, particularly Instagram.
Photography skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience with Meta Business Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
A proactive and results-oriented approach with a passion for creativity and a strong work ethic.
