Job Summary:
The Labels & On-Garment Marketing Manager works with cross functional partners for all R&D, artwork creation and approvals for product labels and on product marketing. Ensures development meets design aesthetic, brand standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

Label/Tag Design & Development:

Collaborate with design and cross functional partners to develop new labels and on product marketing that align with brand identity and target audience.
Research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in label and on product marketing designs and materials by meeting with vendors and shopping competitors.
Leads seasonal packaging and label request meetings with design, merch and sourcing to identify new needs or updates for upcoming seasons.
Concept and design all on garment marketing and labels for re-brands, licensee collaborations or big idea launches.
Create detailed specifications and technical drawings for labels and on product marketing.
Partner with design and sourcing to mock up accessories that require new developments.
Provides approvals for all artwork from vendors for labels and on product marketing. Ensures artwork meets design specifications, aesthetics and quality.
Create artwork adjustments as needed based on Production requests from factories.
Requests costs from vendors to provide to merch and sourcing partners before production approval.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all labels and tags comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure compliance.
Ensure that all new developments follow TCP ESG Initiatives.

Communication & Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with designers and cross functional internal and external partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth label and on product marketing implementation.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve issues related to label and on product marketing R&D and approvals.
Propose and implement solutions to improve R&D processes and efficiency.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
5+ years of experience in fashion.
5+ years of experience in label and tag design, development, and production.

Skills and Behaviors:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., design software).
