The Social Media Marketing Manager will lead the social media and social search content strategy and influencer marketing for Masonite, focused on matching the Masonite target audience and buyers’ journey into platform strategies that drive engagement, elevate brand awareness, increase web traffic and support SEO. The person in this role will be responsible specifically for organic activity on Houzz, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube, LinkedIN, Twitter/X, and Google Location Pages. This person is an experienced social media practitioner who can connect dots across their channels and cross-functionally with partners in search, media buying, website strategy, channel marketing, product marketing, and corporate communication. Along with product and engineering teams as needed for content development.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Understand the role social media plays in reaching strategic value targets and its place in the buying journey.
Partner with the appropriate internal teams to define immediate and long-term social playbooks that guide platform growth and strategy and regularly optimize and refine the social strategy and content with these same partners.
Create differentiated platform plans based on audience insights and user behavior.
Manage an annual budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize platform growth and engagement.
Lead content development for platforms, including the scope, script, storyboards, and overseeing the production process.
Manage social media content, from writing copy and working with internal and external creative resources to develop 3D renders, photography and video assets through the appropriate approval processes.
Own the influencer strategy; work closing with the agency partner to select influencers, develop briefs, manage content reviews and post-publishing distribution. This includes management of internal purchasing teams to deliver products and local contractors to facilitate installations.
Provide creative direction and advise on placement for paid social media advertisements to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
Serve as the power user of the social media management platform, leveraging its full capabilities to streamline processes, track performance, optimize content distribution, and reactive engagement with the community.
Build the social media KPI scorecard focused on contributions to both upper and lower funnel metrics, working closing with the rest of the integrated marketing team and analytics lead, and report actionable insights back into the business.
Maintain intimate familiarity with platform algorithms, new content modules, changes in reporting, etc.

Experience & Education:

5-7 years of professional experience in paid media, social media and influencer management.
Working knowledge of content production and digital formats.
Ability to prioritize projects and collaborate with other team members.
Strong short-form writer who can flex their style across different platform requirements.
Knowledge of platforms required: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, and Google Location.
Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), basic SEO principles necessary and social publishing platform strongly encouraged.
High attention to detail and organization.
A curious marketer who is always learning and staying ahead of the digital trends
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred but not required
