Reporting to the VP of Operations Support, the Marketing Manager (1-Year Contract) will play a pivotal role in leading media buying, advertising creative, social media platforms, and the loyalty program to grow the Sarku Japan brand.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement strategic media and social plans, marketing and social media strategies, annual plan, and quarterlypromotioncalendars.
· Lead media agency and external vendors to manage social media buying, work with influencers, and test new media platforms.
· Guide social media agencies in community management and social reputation management.
· Create and develop social media content.
· Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, distilling customer attributes through research to ensure their needs and wants are met.
· Lead Sarku’s loyalty program and manage all CRM functions (email, text, push notifications) to raise awareness of national promotions and drive traffic.
· Enhance and maintain brand identity, ensuring proper usage of logos and graphics across all internal and external applications.
· Monitor activity and trends of Sarku Japan’s competitors.
· Manage budgets and reporting.
· Perform cross-functional tasks as required bysenior management.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with relevant experience
· Provenleadershipskills with the ability to build rapport across teams and ensure timely task execution
· Experience developing and maintaining marketing and digital strategies
· Strong knowledge of social media platforms and emerging media channels
· Experience in quick-service restaurant chains (an asset)
· Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights and recommendations from data
·Collaborative, persuasive, driven, and tenacious
· Excellent time management, prioritization, written, verbal, and presentation skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
· Willingness to travel to the U.S. on short notice, including evenings and weekends
