The Vice President of Direct Marketing with Digital Expertise is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of direct marketing strategies across both traditional and digital channels. This individual will lead a high-performing team to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement, using a data-driven, customer-centric approach. The VP will also ensure alignment with broader business objectives, leading innovative campaigns that utilize cutting-edge digital tools and technologies to improve ROI and customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Leadership:
Develop and execute the overarching direct marketing strategy that integrates both digital and traditional channels.
Set long-term vision and goals for direct marketing initiatives in line with company growth targets.
Lead cross-functional teams including digital marketing, creative, analytics, and customer experience to ensure alignment on goals and execution.
Digital Marketing Expertise:
Drive digital marketing initiatives across all digital channels (e.g., email, paid search, display advertising, social media, mobile, content marketing).
Utilize advanced digital tools, analytics, and AI-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and customer targeting.
Ensure that digital strategies are integrated with traditional marketing methods, achieving a seamless omnichannel experience.
Campaign Development & Execution:
Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of direct marketing campaigns with a focus on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Monitor campaign performance, adjusting tactics as needed to ensure that KPIs (such as customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and conversion rates) are met or exceeded.
Data-Driven Insights:
Leverage customer data, segmentation strategies, and analytics to develop personalized and targeted campaigns.
Lead efforts in A/B testing, customer journey mapping, and advanced analytics to measure success and continuously improve direct marketing tactics.
Provide actionable insights to the executive team to inform product development, customer experience, and retention strategies.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and build a diverse, high-performing direct marketing team.
Ensure professional development and continuous learning within the team to stay ahead of marketing trends and technology innovations.
Manage team resources and budgets effectively to ensure optimal execution and results.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Partner with product, sales, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Act as a thought leader and advocate for direct marketing strategies within the company, educating other departments on best practices and opportunities for growth.
Budget & Resource Management:
Oversee the budget for direct marketing and digital initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Manage vendor relationships and external agencies as necessary to support campaign execution.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
10+ years of experience in direct marketing, with a strong emphasis on digital channels (email marketing, paid media, search, social, etc.).
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP or Director level), with proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and large-scale campaigns.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, CRM software).
Skills:
Excellent strategic thinking and ability to implement large-scale, data-driven marketing strategies.
Proven expertise in digital marketing techniques, SEO/SEM, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Exceptional ability to analyze data, extract insights, and apply them to marketing strategies.
Experience with omnichannel marketing approaches and integration between online and offline strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
