Overview
Marketing Manager:
We are seeking an energetic, motivated and creative team member to drive the development and execution of a strategic marketing plan for the assigned lifestyle center in Fort Myers, Florida.
Responsibilities
Your day to day will include the following initiatives:
Develops, plans, and implements Annual Marketing Plan and Budget, including research data, SWOT, center goals and objectives, strategies and tactics in consultation with national retailleadership, management and leasing. Manages the lifestyle center marketing budget to fully utilize tenant, landlord and alternative contributions to maximize property traffic and sales.
Works with national retail team to implement corporate brand marketing, policies, procedures, programs and initiatives at the field level.
Plans and directs the advertising, public relations, special events, sales promotions, community programming and retailer relations activities for the center.
Oversees and coordinates center events. Event responsibilities includecommunicationand negotiations with event participants, preparing contracts, facilitating event implementation, being on-site to oversee center events and compiling event recaps.
Collaborates with the national retail team to achieve appropriate client-driven property goals and objectives in line with the center’s business plan.
Manages tenant relations program. Supports tenant retention through the development of tenant merchandizing and promotional initiatives. Reviews monthly sales reports to ensure a thorough knowledge of retailer sales; tracks key retailer and category trends.
Attends community, merchant, staff and city meetings & professionally represents the center and Avison Young in the community.
Manages and drives growth and engagement of digital media programs including social media, web, e-mail and mobile as applicable.
Communicates effectively with staff, tenants, public, national retail leaders and ownership as needed or required.
Reviews and approves invoices for marketing expenses and adheres to budget guidelines.
Secures cash sponsorship of special events and community programs and findsinnovativeways to generate additional income for the marketing budget.
