Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our content creation and product marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the Owner, this role is ideal for a creative individual with a passion for photography, videography, and social media marketing. The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in capturing high-quality visuals of new and best-selling products, sourcing user-generated content (UGC), and coordinating with the editing team to produce compelling advertisements that drive customer acquisition. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Owner to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for future product launches. The Marketing Assistant will also help with creation of marketing materials for in person retail sales and other promotional items. This is a part-time position (25-30 hours per week), with most work done on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:

-Capture high-quality photos and videos of new and best-selling products for social media, paid ads, for customer acquisition.

-Organize and deliver raw content to the editing team for post-production.

User-Generated Content (UGC) Collection:

-Source and collect video and written testimonials from customers to showcase real experiences with Life Unplugged products.

-Coordinate with customers and influencers to obtain authentic UGC for social media and advertising campaigns.

Creative Development & Product Launch Support:

-Work alongside the Owner to brainstorm and develop new designs and creative concepts for upcoming product launches.

-Assist in planning and executing visual storytelling strategies to enhance brand awareness.

-Assist with website alterations and communication with Product Uploader for proper product launches.

Collaboration & Coordination:

-Distribute captured content to the appropriate teams for editing and production.

-Maintain organized digital archives of all raw and finalized content for future use.

Social Media & Advertising Support:

-Assist in curating and organizing visual assets for digital marketing campaigns.

-Provide input on creative direction for paid advertisements and organic social media growth.

Qualifications & Experience

-Experience with photography and videography (professional or self-taught).

-Strong understanding of social media marketing and content trends, especially on Instagram and Facebook.

-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, creative environment.

-Passion for outdoor lifestyles and adventure-driven branding.

-Experience with content editing tools (Adobe, Canva, or mobile editing apps)

-Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
