Marketing Manager role – Leading independent Private School in North West London

4-6 month contract (Maternity cover)

50k pro rata

Interim Marketing Manager needed for a period of 4 to 6 months, to cover while the current Marketing Manager is on maternity leave. The role would ideally start as soon as possible and run until September.

Our client is open to either an experienced Marketing Manager or a strong Project Manager with relevant marketing experience. The successful candidate must be able to:

Manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively

Lead a small team of marketeers and oversee workloads

Brief, manage, and collaborate with designers (an essential part of the role)

Maintain strong organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment

Please note that the candidate will be expected to be on-site four days a week at their schools in North West London with the option to work from home one day per week. A full driving licence is essential due to their location as public transport links are not the greatest.

Experience

A Marketing or business degree, CIM or IDM qualification would be desirable.

7+ years relevant experience in marketing and or branding.

Proven experience of development and implementation of new ideas and strategies.

Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.

Strong analytical and strategic skills in branding and marketing.

A thorough knowledge of digital marketing and internal communication.

Knowledge and Skills

A practical understanding of visual communications, social media, and the digital landscape, and how to incorporate these channels into the overall plan .

Highly computer literate with PowerPoint skills and ideally technical ability to use Adobe Creative Suite, in particular n-Design software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A sound knowledge of marketing practices and principles.

Strong project management skills.

Excellent organisation skills.

Solid knowledge of website analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics)

Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and

processing figures with spreadsheets.

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
