Your Role in Our Journey

Wine Enthusiast is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to spearhead marketing initiatives for our core business, focusing on driving engagement and growth for our magazine, related services, and special projects. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across a variety of platforms, including digital, print, email, social, and events. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for the wine and spirits industry, possessing a proven ability to manage multiple projects, analyze performance data, and deliver impactful results.

What You’ll Be Uncorking

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Marketing Strategies to Support Media Reach and Drive Engagement:
Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns across various channels, including editorial newsletters, email, SMS, paid social, and PPC.
Magazine Subscriptions: Collaborate with the magazine team to develop and execute campaigns to grow and retain print subscribers.
Strategic Campaign Development & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for key initiatives, including: Cork & Compass, Tasting Room Directory, Wine Enthusiast Ratings Platform and Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Courses.
Content & Community Engagement:
Oversee the deployment and management of weekly and monthly newsletters, ensuring timely and effective communication with our audience.
Manage and grow the Beverage Industry Experts Newsletter, providing valuable content and fostering engagement within the professional community.
Project Management & Event Support:
Provide strategic marketing support for special projects and events, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact.
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for events, driving attendance and engagement.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Provide timely and detailed reporting on all owned projects, analyzing key metrics and identifying areas for optimization.
Track and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, web, senior leadership, creative, sales, and education teams to ensure alignment and maximize campaign effectiveness.

The Perfect Blend (What You Bring to the Table)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar experience.
3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on digital marketing and campaign management.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of email marketing, SMS marketing, paid social, and PPC.
Experience with marketing automation platforms.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for wine, spirits, or the beverage industry is always a plus!

The position offers remote flexibility; however, candidates located in the area are encouraged to work onsite once per week.

The pay range for this role is:
65,000 – 85,000 USD per year(Remote)
