About the Position:
The Sponsorship Marketing Manager is responsible for developing sponsorship marketing assets, managing day-to-day sponsor relations, and overseeing the organization’s sponsorship fulfillment efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, email marketing, social media marketing, content creation, content planning, fulfillment tracking, pitch-deck development, and managing a portfolio of 30+ sponsor contacts. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with a cross-functional team of internal and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:
Oversee fulfillment strategies for all sponsors, developing creative ways to showcase and elevate each sponsor’s respective brand according to contract deliverables.
Manage an ongoing calendar of sponsorship fulfillment initiatives, ensuring all deliverables are carried out on time and according to plan.
Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of 30+ sponsors, ensuring each sponsor the opportunity to provide feedback and improve their relationship with USA Cycling. This includes a cadence of weekly, monthly, or quarterly meetings with sponsors.
Manage the development and execution of all marketing assets tied to sponsorship fulfillment, including press releases, email campaigns, paid social campaigns, organic social posts, sponsored content, in-person and digital activations, signage, and webpage asset integration.
Track and monitor a variety of key performance indicators for each sponsor relationship, delivering performance benchmarks and reports to sponsors according to contract deliverables.
Manage the creative design and development of pitch decks, brochures, webpages, and other marketing collateral that’s needed to attract and secure new corporate sponsors.
Manage vendor opportunities and expo space at select national championships, ensuring sponsors and one-off vendors have adequate set up needs and are satisfied with their activation opportunities.
Serve as the primary liaison between the sales and marketing teams, ensuring the sales team has adequate information, assets, and resources to effectively sell sponsorship opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports to the marketing and leadership teams
Manage the sponsorship fulfillment budget, including forecasting and reconciliation measures
Assist with marketing and communications operations at select USA Cycling events
Assist with additional marketing and communications efforts within the organization
Other duties as requested and/or determined
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related field
3+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field
Proven experience managing a robust calendar of marketing deliverables, experience working in sponsorship fulfillment or a related field is preferred
Proven ability to meet project deadlines, balancing long-term strategic goals with current priorities
Experiencing developing and managing a robust content calendar
Experience developing written content including press releases, blog articles, newsletters, etc.
Exceptional writing, grammatical, and copy-editing skills and the ability to write original content
Experience managing relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Industry experience within the sport of cycling, the Olympic movement, or a related field preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by potential candidates to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.

Ability to attend in-person Cycling events, standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Positioned in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Occasional standing, squatting, reaching, and bending.
Ability to receive information through oral communication both in-person, over video conferencing platforms, and on the telephone.
Manual dexterity needed for using a computer keyboard.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Must have adequate vision to operate a computer and complete paperwork.
Software Experience:
Familiarity with the following software applications (or similar) is preferred: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Meltwater, Klaviyo, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Asana, and Craft CMS.
Travel:
This is a remote position but will require occasional travel.
15-20% travel
Occasional weekend work required
Occasional travel to the USA Cycling headquarters in Colorado Springs
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, exempt, fully remote position with a starting salary range of $50,000 – $60,000 annually.
