Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Promotion
Organize and promote networking events, job fairs, educational workshops, and advocacy efforts.
Develop marketing materials (flyers, email campaigns, social media content).
Coordinate event logistics, sponsorships, and partnerships.
Community Outreach & Relationship Building
Engage with local businesses, community leaders, and policymakers to strengthen partnerships.
Represent the chamber at public events, industry panels, and advocacy meetings.
Recruit and onboard new members, ensuring diverse participation.
Marketing & Communications
Develop and execute social media strategies to raise awareness.
Manage newsletters, website updates, and press releases.
Create storytelling content to highlight success stories within the community.
Public Policy & Advocacy Support
Educate community members on cannabis laws, social equity programs, and business opportunities.
Advocate for policy changes that support social equity initiatives.
Data Tracking & Impact Measurement
Track event attendance, outreach impact, and engagement metrics.
Gather feedback to improve future initiatives.
Ideal Skills & Qualifications:
✅ Strong background in community engagement, marketing, or event planning
✅ Experience in cannabis industry, social equity programs, or advocacy work
✅ Excellent communication and networking abilities
✅ Proficiency in social media, graphic design, and digital marketing tools

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
