Job description

We are looking for an intelligent, eager-to-learn SEO Account Executive to join our family and team! You will work alongside and learn from our SEO veterans with over 20 years of combined experience. This job will require you to plan and develop personalized, comprehensive local and national SEO campaigns that enhance the SERP performance of our clients’ online presence and visibility, keyword rankings and positions, driving organic website traffic, increasing lead quality and goal conversion, and more. You will work alongside teammates to apply industry-standard SEO best practices and techniques to clients’ websites.

We’re looking for someone eager to utilize their knowledge and expertise to help clients improve their overall organic visibility and meet KPI’s by implementing advanced SEO strategies.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Performing technical, content and link audits, as directed.
Measuring and tracking search ranking factors, keywords, internal and external links, and site content.
Analyzing monthly campaign performance, including reporting tasks and details.
Performing industry and competitor research and analysis.
Assisting account team to maintain and manage campaign calendars, schedules, due dates, etc.
Understanding SEO campaign scope and completing deliverables in a timely manner.
Keeping current with search engine trends to develop and improve SEO practices within the agency.
Conducting keyword research and identifying opportunities to drive more qualified traffic.
Helping manage content ideation and generation of SEO-friendly and target audience blog copy.
Participating in weekly inter-team meetings to discuss and recommend strategies that influence site and content direction.
Monitoring, testing, and implementing action items identified via routine auditing of Core Web Vitals, AMP, and Page Experience Update-related protocols.
Technical SEO implementation, on-page SEO factors and site architecture improvements, along with a knowledge of various content management systems.
Researching, creating, and organizing sustainable local and national SEO strategies.

Experience is a plus, but not required:

mCommerce, eCommerce, and basic website (primarily WordPress) management.
Working in a remote/virtual environment.
Working knowledge of Google products – Analytics (UA/GA4), Search Console, GMB, Tag Manager – Bing Webmaster Tools, and using 3rd party tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Screaming Frog, etc.

Proactive, self-starter, critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
Effective communication (internal and external) / client interfacing skills.
Interest in the technical inner workings of websites and search.
Comfortable in a fluid environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and dynamic change.
The ability to communicate deadlines clearly and effectively with your team to ensure the timely completion of all projects.
Strong understanding of SEO core elements (on-page and off-page tactics, site navigation optimization, internal linking structure, URL structure, title tags, meta descriptions, etc).
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and Google algorithms.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
