Marketing Operations Manager – Shockwave Jobs in Santa Clara, CA at Johnson & Johnson
BNL Consulting is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This hybrid/remote position requires the candidate to reside in a HUBZone (check your eligibility with this link https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map#center=39.137728,-76.687016&&zoom=15), occasionally work in the Athens, GA office and perform all work within the United States.
As part of our dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing our social media presence, creating content, and representing BNL at industry events. You’ll also support our efforts to market BNL’s solutions to federal customers and large federal integrators, helping us expand our reach and build strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies to elevate BNL’s brand visibility.
Federal Marketing: Create targeted marketing campaigns to promote BNL’s capabilities to federal agencies and large federal integrators.
Event Promotion: Attend conferences with the business development team to promote BNL and engage with potential clients and partners.
Content Management: Manage BNL’s content library, including developing case studies, marketing collateral, and proposal support materials.
Social Media: Oversee and expand BNL’s social media presence across platforms.
Partnership Development: Connect with partners, brands, and federal integrators to grow our professional network.
Brand Consistency: Collaborate with our graphic designer to ensure cohesive branding.
Blog Writing: Write and publish monthly blog posts that highlight our expertise and company culture.
Trend Monitoring: Stay current with marketing trends and integrate them into our strategies.
Communication Support: Assist with internal and external communications beyond social media.
Required Qualifications
Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
2+ years of experience in blog writing and social media marketing.
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
Experience developing content targeted toward federal agencies and/or large government integrators.
Experience representing organizations at conferences, including managing booths and tables.
Bachelor’s degree (or actively pursuing one) in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
Must reside in a HUBZone (verify eligibility https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map#center=39.137728,-76.687016&&zoom=15).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience with IT or technical writing, including blogs on IT-related topics.
Familiarity with the IT solutions industry (e.g., data analytics, cloud computing, legacy application modernization).
Experience working in government contracting and understanding of federal procurement processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter with strong time-management abilities.
