Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
Conduct market analysis to identify target audiences and opportunities.
Create and manage a marketing budget.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to attract potential residents and their families.
Identify and implement creative tactics to convert leads into move-ins.
· Sales Team Management:
Set sales goals and track performance, providing regular feedback and support.
· Community Relations and Networking:
Build strong relationships with referral sources, such as hospitals, physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Attend community events and build relationships with local organizations.
Develop and maintain a referral database.
· Lead Management and Sales Process:
Develop and manage a lead generation and nurturing process.
Conduct initial tours and presentations to prospective residents and families.
Facilitate the move-in process, working with Nursing
Track inquiries and manage the sales pipeline.
· Evaluation and Improvement:
Regularly assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies and make adjustments as needed.
Monitor occupancy rates and revenue performance to ensure goals are being met.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
· Admissions:
Work closely with the Administrator and other department managers to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to resident care and community operations.
Collaborate with the Administrator to provide ongoing marketing and sales support.
Oversee and manage the entire admissions process, from inquiry to resident move-in.
Conduct tours with prospective residents and their families, providing detailed information about our services, facilities, and care options.
Assess the needs of potential residents to ensure an appropriate fit within our community.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to gather necessary documentation and manage admissions paperwork.
Maintain accurate records of resident information, adhering to compliance with state regulations and privacy laws.
Develop and implement strategies to promote the nursing home within the community and to prospective residents.
Analyze admissions data to identify trends, improve processes, and achieve occupancy goals.
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree:
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, nursing, or a related field is often preferred.
· Relevant Coursework/Training:
Relevant coursework or continuing education training in social services, geriatrics, or similar areas can be beneficial.
Experience:
· Sales and Marketing Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a formal sales and marketing capacity is preferred.
· Senior Living or Healthcare Experience:
Experience working in a senior living or related healthcare environment is highly valued.
· Industry Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the senior living industry and local market conditions is essential.
Skills:
· Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with residents, families, and team members.
· Presentation Skills: Superior presentation skills, both one-on-one and with a group, are necessary for engaging with prospective residents and families.
· Sales and Marketing Knowledge: A solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics is essential.
· CRM Proficiency: Experience with sales tracking software and CRM systems is often required.
· Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies is important.
· Leadership Skills: As a director, you’ll need to be able to lead and motivate a team.
