Position Summary

The Marketing Manager leads marketing strategy and execution of programs designed to drive qualified traffic to company-owned community developments and company website. This position focuses on optimizing return on investment of the company’s marketing budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides leadership to the marketing department that is in alignment with company vision, mission, and values
Cultivates the personal, spiritual, financial, and professional growth of employees through open communication and conducting weekly 1:1’s
Identifies training and development needs within the department
Develops and manages quarterly and annual marketing strategies, division, and community marketing plans
Collaborates with other departments to ensure marketing programs align with company sales goals
Oversees the creation of online and offline marketing initiatives including direct mail, email, collateral, signage, displays, ads, events, and web page content
Attends monthly sales meetings and conducts community visits to build rapport with sales agents and monitor market trends
Manages the marketing budget and regularly reviews program performance
Sets quarterly and annual performance goals and deliver programs that focus on optimizing cost/lead, cost/sale, and ROI
Monitors community traffic on a weekly basis to identify trends and make marketing plan recommendations to improve performance
Serves as a brand gatekeeper for the company, ensuring every customer touchpoint is consistent, premium quality and in alignment with brand guidelines
Leads neighborhood onboarding activities with excellence, ensuring the Sales team is set up to successfully open a new community for sale
Collaborates with the human resources department for recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations

Qualifications and Skills

Five (5) + years of progressive marketing experience and a degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Proficient in the use of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with low noise levels
Prolonged periods of sitting required
Occasionally required to walk, stand, lift, climb, pull, and push objects weighing up to 15 pounds
