We are an award winning digital content studio and media network who are currently on a quest to find a VP, Content Strategy to oversee our Content Strategy team – Is this your next opportunity?
This senior role oversees the Content Strategy team and is an inspirational leader in our Social Video Services department. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of how to ideate, create and execute effective content strategies for all major social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc), with an emphasis on video content. They will oversee key client relationships, manage a growing team, be the internal expert on content strategy, have a strong rolodex of brand relationships, and be an industry thought leader for Little Dot Studios. They will manage a variety of individuals on the Content Strategy team, ensuring every team member has a clear vision of where their roles can take them as the team grows and evolves. This role will identify and champion key growth opportunities for the department and company, inspire creative vision for new business and client growth for the Social Video Services department, and deliver top-performing creative content that exceeds expectations and thrills clients.

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME
Lead, develop, and scale the Content Strategy team, ensuring effective delegation, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.
Define our content strategy, from ideation to execution, ensuring we are creating and delivering best-in-class content for our top-tier clients
Oversee key client relationships, serving as an executive escalation point to ensure strategic goals and client expectations are met.
Support new business and client growth efforts as a vocal leader and active participant within our client development cohort
Analyze performance metrics across platforms, setting benchmarks and refining growth-oriented KPIs to drive measurable impact for content programs.
Stay ahead of digital content and social media trends, proactively sharing insights and strategic recommendations with internal teams and clients.
Collaborate with our marketing team to develop thought leadership content and act as an external voice for Little Dot Studios
Help drive the growth of Little Dot Studios as a vocal member of the senior leadership team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.
10+ years of digital video, content agency, social media and/or related digital marketing experience
Proven experience creating content / social media strategies with a strong understanding of what drives engagement and views in an ever-changing social media landscape
Demonstrable experience of senior client management and relationship building
Expert knowledge of social platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
Knowledge of social analytical tools and social scheduling applications
Inspiring team leader with a hard-working mentality and interest in working in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills with initiative
Prior experience overseeing teams and project-level budgets while managing the responsibility for meeting key financial targets
Visible leader: expected to be on-site as necessary, with availability to attend office meetings and team events (note: position based in Los Angeles).
Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
