Marketing Programs Operations Jobs in Remote at Ciena
We are looking for a team member with a positive, solution-oriented attitude and a willingness to innovate. This person will come with at least 2 years of experience in Content/Communications and will help us develop and deploy content and communications strategies to support our growth goals. You would work with team members, customers and other subject matter experts to develop written, video, and social media content that educates prospects and supports customers.

Responsibilities
Strengthening our brand awareness through our public-facing Company Website and relevant Social media.
Work with our team to create and deploy content and communications strategies to support our growth goals.
Work with our team and subject matter experts to create, edit, and publish engaging content across various platforms including blogs, social media, and websites.
Manage day-to-day administration of our social media and website.
Schedule, publish, and monitor posts while maintaining brand voice and consistency.
Utilize SEO/Ai best practices to optimize content for search engines to improve organic traffic and increase accuracy of Ai results with respect to our company and products.
Monitor analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media algorithms, and emerging platforms.
Create consistent and professional communication that aligns with our brand and company image.
Manage content distribution to relevant industry channels to promote our messaging and increase lead traffic.
Community Building through our customer-facing Training and Help and Knowledge base websites and online forums.
Help create and deploy Style Guide standards for Customer-facing websites
Engage with our customers by coordinating community events and targeted, timely communications
Developing and maintaining Sales Content and Tools
Create business-level document templates to support the RFP sales process.
Create and maintain email templates, and communication tools that support sales.
Monitor competitor activity and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
2+ years of experience in content marketing, multimedia journalism, PR/communications, or similar role.
A positive, solution-oriented attitude with a passion for driving success through teamwork and innovation.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience with Google Workspace, Canva, and Vimeo
Experience with WordPress for website management
Graphic design and Video editing skills to assist in creating compelling visuals.
Strong understanding of marketing, customer relationship management, and lead generation/conversion strategies.
A good story teller with strong communication skills.
Bonus
Experience with Vimeo platform and Presentation apps
Knowledge of the Public Safety technology industry.
This position is subject to working with data that is governed by the US Department of Justice’s “Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy” and therefore you must successfully pass a fingerprint and background check prior to beginning work.
