Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) is recruiting for the role of Product Director, Macitentan HCP Marketing. The role will be based in Titusville, NJ.

JJIM is a leader in the field of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). Our portfolio of oral, inhaled and intravenous medicines covers the spectrum of disease, with mechanisms of action targeting three foundational pathways and indications for the treatment of PAH WHO Functional Class (FC) II – IV.

Key Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for healthcare professional promotions and marketing strategy for Macitentan-containing products. It will play a key role in driving the growth of OPSYNVI® while also helping to prepare for upcoming lifecycle events for current and future products. Strategic thinking, the ability to orchestrate across many stakeholder groups, and a strong executional focus will be pivotal qualities for this role.

Contribute to the professional promotion strategy and marketing execution of OPSYNVI®
Lead professional education and congress strategy for OPSYNVI®, including commercial advisory board planning and execution
Compliantly engage with medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and evidence generation teams to prepare for new publications or guidelines and assess future opportunities for promotions
Support personal promotion messaging and tactics with emerging scientific data and RWE
Own development of key tactics for the specified promotional channel and manage submissions of promotional materials for CAC approval
Collaborate with field sales and L&D teams to plan for deployment of resources and monitor utilization/effectiveness
Support launch planning efforts and US Go-To-Market preparations for a key pipeline asset
Lead pre-launch activities and deliverables for the US HCP marketing workstream
Support annual business planning and budget management processes as required
Lead or support other professional promotion priorities as required and in a manner aligned to development planning
Contribute to a culture of candor, teamwork, and trust, as part of a diverse and inclusive team

Qualifications

Education:

BA/BS degree required
MBA or other related advanced degree preferred

Required Experience:

Minimum 8 years of commercial business experience
Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
Proven success in driving achievement of key business objectives through executional focus with customer-facing teams
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with an ability to create messaging and tactics that influence customer decision-making
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders/teams and influence without direct authority
Must be proactive and capable of operating without specific direction while managing multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment
Experience leading multiple agencies/vendors, budgets, and complex projects across functions, geographies, and various levels of leadership
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, standard practices, and regulatory environment

Preferred Experiences:

Prior pharmaceutical sales experience
Prior experience with speaker bureau management, KOL engagement, and/or speaker program strategy/execution
Prior experience leading or supporting pharmaceutical launch planning and strategy, or robust cross-functional project management experience
Previous customer experience with Cardiology, Pulmonology, or rare disease healthcare providers

Other:

This position will require up to 30% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
