A leading consumer brand is seeking a Marketing Project Manager (contract) to lead the In-House Marketing Project Management team. This role is key to overseeing the intake, planning, and execution of all creative requests, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow from initial brief to final asset delivery. As a cross-functional collaborator, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to keep projects on track, on time, and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
Ensure the successful execution of creative and marketing initiatives from intake to final delivery.
Manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder alignment across all projects, driving efficiency, quality, and accountability through every stage.
Leads project planning including scope, timelines, deliverables, and budgets based on briefs.
Translates marketing and brand needs into actionable creative briefs and assigns appropriate resources based on bandwidth and expertise.
Manages the full project lifecycle, from intake and creative development to internal reviews, stakeholder approvals, and final delivery.
Builds and maintains project plans, trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor status, milestones, and team capacity across daily, weekly, and monthly intervals.
Drives the setup, optimization, and day-to-day management of project management platforms ensuring both back-end efficiency and a seamless front-end experience for internal clients.
Gathers field feedback and continuously improves systems, workflows, and SOP documentation to increase productivity and output quality.
Reports on project metrics to identify bottlenecks and guide strategic improvements.
Oversees the implementation and ongoing support of the Digital Asset Management system, including taxonomy creation, training guides, and milestone tracking.
Supports the execution of brand-supporting photoshoots and events, including logistics, scheduling, and coordination.
Maintains working knowledge of print production and sources new vendors as needed to fulfill creative and marketing deliverables.
Acts as a key liaison between creative, marketing, digital, brand, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent communication, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution.
Proactively flags risks, adjusts timelines, and resolves issues to maintain workflow continuity and ensure project success.
Reviews final deliverables against briefs for accuracy, brand alignment, and creative excellence
Requirements:
5+ years of project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Project Management, or Business Management (preferred)
Demonstrated success collaborating across departments—internal and external
Strong understanding of front-end applications, communication tools, databases, and business operations
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Deep understanding of branding, creative workflows, writing, and design processes
Experience working with external agencies, production partners, and freelancers
Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt quickly, and remain calm under pressure
Leadership mindset with strong coaching and mentoring skills
