General Harvest Restaurants is looking for a Social Media Manager to oversee and grow the digital presence of our restaurant group, which includes eight Instagram accounts. This includes six individual restaurant accounts, one for our seafood and specialty market, and another representing the restaurant group as a whole — also covering our wholesale pasta and bakery team. We’re seeking someone with a passion for storytelling, a strong visual eye for food content, and the ability to create and execute a cohesive social media strategy across multiple brands. Additionally, we’re interested in exploring other marketing opportunities, and this role could evolve to include broader marketing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and create content for eight Instagram accounts, maintaining a unique but cohesive brand identity across all locations.
Develop and execute a content calendar that highlights seasonal menus, special events, behind-the-scenes moments, and more.
Capture high-quality photos and videos or coordinate with photographers/videographers as needed.
Write compelling captions that align with our brand voice and engage our audience.
Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Engage with customers, industry professionals, and influencers to grow brand awareness.
Track analytics and provide insights to refine content strategies and improve engagement.
Collaborate with our chefs, restaurant teams, and leadership to highlight what makes each location special.
Develop content that showcases not just our restaurants, but also our seafood market, wholesale pasta, and bakery operations.
Potentially expand responsibilities to include other marketing efforts, such as email newsletters, partnerships, or PR initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience managing multiple social media accounts, ideally in the restaurant, hospitality, or lifestyle space.
Strong photography and video skills, or experience working with content creators.
A deep understanding of Instagram trends, best practices, and engagement strategies.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand captions.
Experience with social media analytics and scheduling tools.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.
A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Experience with influencer collaborations or paid social strategies.
Interest in helping shape broader marketing initiatives beyond social media.
