Position Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing & Events Manager with marketing & event experience. The ideal candidate should be extremely organized, hard-working, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, creative environment. This role requires an engaging, innovative, organized, and results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to help grow a fantastic brand and chamber. The Marketing and Events Manager will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Director at West Valley Regional Chamber will play a crucial role in overseeing all major events, newsletters, communication outreach, sponsorships, and website management to ensure coherent branding and effective promotion of the Chamber’s initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Chamber events, newsletters, and communication outreach.
· Oversee the planning and execution of all major events to ensure successful implementation and achievement of set goals.
· Creating, managing & adhering to event budgets.
· Manage and curate content for newsletters to ensure timely and engaging communication with members and stakeholders.
· Coordinate outreach efforts to attract sponsorships and partnerships to support Chamber activities.
· Take charge of website management, ensuring up-to-date content, user-friendly navigation, and effective communication of the Chamber’s mission and events.
· Monitor and analyze marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for improved outreach.
· Collaborate with internal teams, committees, and external stakeholders to align marketing efforts with the Chamber’s objectives.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative marketing strategies for the Chamber’s growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing, event planning, and communication outreach.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in website management and digital marketing tools.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines effectively.
Experience in sponsorship acquisition and partnership development is a plus.
Innovative thinking and a results-driven mindset to drive the Chamber’s marketing efforts successfully.
Experience with developing and negotiating sponsorship agreements (preferred).
Experience working in a cross-functional organizational environment (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or event management (preferred).

Licenses / Certifications
Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
