About Us:
Home Town Lending is a fast-growing mortgage company looking for a creative and trend-savvy Marketing & Social Media Content Creator to elevate our brand. We need someone who understands social media trends, video editing, and viral content strategies to create engaging mortgage-related content. Additionally, this person should be skilled in Canva to design eye-catching flyers, social media posts, and marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
Create and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
Stay up to date with social media trends and come up with creative mortgage-related content ideas that resonate with our audience.
Plan and execute content that is engaging, shareable, and educational while keeping it fun and relatable.
Use trending audio, captions, and hashtags to increase engagement and reach.
Design flyers, social media posts, and marketing materials using Canva.
Manage and post across multiple social media platforms to drive brand awareness.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns.
Track engagement metrics and analytics to improve content performance.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of social media trends (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook).
Experience in video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
Proficiency in Canva for creating flyers, social media graphics, and promotional materials.
Creative thinker who can turn mortgage-related topics into fun, engaging content.
Ability to write compelling captions and optimize content for social media algorithms.
Outside-the-box thinker who isn’t afraid to take risks with content creation.
Familiarity with mortgage/homebuying topics is a plus, but not required.
Must be able to work on-site at our Addison, TX office – this is not a remote position.
