Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing/Social Media Coordinator & Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administrative duties related to client engagement, recruitment, and general office tasks. This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing engaging marketing, social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and drive audience engagement. This role requires strong office clerical skills as well as an understanding of digital marketing trends, content creation, and graphic design to effectively communicate our message across various platforms.

Duties

Event scheduling, client research activities, customer prospecting, management of software and platforms such as website, client portals, social media sites, and transcription of interviews and content.
Coordinator will also assist at trainings, workshops, and conferences, which may include regional and local travel.
Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social media channels.
Develop innovative social media campaigns that align with marketing goals and objectives.
Conduct research to identify trends and insights to inform content strategy.
Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments or messages promptly.
Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and quality.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce.

Experience

Proven experience in content creation, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated ability in, editing and managing website platforms
High acumen in office systems and proficient in all standard business software.
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
Strong research skills to identify relevant topics and audience interests.
Knowledge of advertising principles within the digital marketing landscape is a plus.
Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication.
Experience working in an office setting as assistant to administrators, managers, or executives.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
