Job Summary: This role serves as a critical support pillar for AAONs business development efforts and is responsible for the logistic duties related to customer visits, sales promotion opportunities, training, and events for sales and marketing purposes. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, a sense of urgency, strong communication skills, and a customer centric mindset.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Books venues, schedules guests, locks down day-of logistics, and maintains contact and terms information that have been negotiated for events for future reference.
Coordinates purchase requests, order placements, vendor monitoring, catering, delivery, travel planning, restaurant reservations, attendee participation, registration counts, RSVP tracking, and issues resolution.
Coordinates the management of the customer visit schedule and prepares logistics for meetings and events held in a variety of different locations, including off-site and third-party locations.
Creates purchase orders, receives materials, and assists the Customer Experience Administrative Assistant with inventory marketing collateral, swag, and other marketing materials.
Tracks expenses and manages budgets related to customer experiences, and reports budget data to Marketing leaders.
Collaborates with the AAON events team to provide support where necessary.
Acts as a brand advocate at AAON events.
Provides administrative support for Sales & Marketing training and customer events.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Three or more years experience in sales, public relations, or customer service. College degree preferred, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong communication and presentation skills
Customer-centric mindset
Solid computer and customer services skills
Ability to prioritize and schedule
Work Environment:
Primarily works in a professional, office environment.
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs unassisted.
Ability to lift and carry 20+ lbs.
Work may require periodic visits to a manufacturing facility with exposure to loud noises, seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and chemical fumes.
