Role
To assist US Trade and Industry Engagement team with the planning and implementation of a well targeted programme of marketing activity, including in-person and digital activity e.g. production of events, social media and web activity, email marketing, CRM and data analytics.
Key Results Area
Assist Trade and Industry Engagement Team with implementation and reporting on national B2B marketing campaign activity.
Provide support with travel trade communications including content and deployment of ezines, and preparation of webinar presentations.
CRM support to manage travel advisor and operator data to grow and maintain database.
Assist in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of US Consumer Partnership Programme for trade partners to deliver third party referrals
Create and manage social media activity targeted at travel trade. Support Trade and Industry team in the effective management of trade social channels, and community management to drive engagement; including in-depth analysis of content performance and identify new opportunities for engagement.
Coordinate any branded promotional collateral needed for use across B2B and B2C platforms.
Maintain US stakeholder website, including upload of US marketing opportunities and management of US content. Ensure platform tools are fully utilised to maximise industry participation in US sales platforms and ensure all industry resources are aligned to business goals and priorities.
Evaluate and report on key team performance metrics, drawing insight from the data to ensure continual improvements are made.
Provide administrative support to Trade and Industry Engagement team in US market.
Ensure adherence to the company’s GDPR compliance policies and procedures in respect of your area of work.
Such other duties as the company may from time-to-time reasonably require including attendance at events, workshops as necessary.
The Person
Essential
2 years relevant experience and track record of achievement working in a marketing role with involvement in digital activities such as social media management, database management, and event management experience.
Proven knowledge of digital media environment, including email marketing and social media trends, with an ability to think creatively in respect of new online initiatives.
Strong IT skills including MS Office, PowerPoint, CMS and email tools.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to use own initative while being able to handle a number of tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong verbal, written communications and editing skills.
A strong commitment to own learning and development as well as a commitment to coaching and supporting colleagues.

Educated to degree level with a qualification in marketing / communications / digital marketing or any other relevant discipline
Experience working in the US Travel industry & B2B marketing
Knowledge of the island of Ireland tourism product.
