Work Schedule: Onsite Monday-Friday.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Marketing Specialist to drive the growth of our inbound sales channels across the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness through strategic online communications while also planning and executing industry events, including trade shows and career fairs. This role requires a results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of digital marketing, event management, and audience engagement.
General Skillset
Experience with Microsoft Office
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
Critical Thinking Skills
Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
Specific Skillset
Experience with social media marketing with platforms like LinkedIn
Experience planning and executing participation at tradeshows
Proficiency with creating infographics with adobe creative suite and canva
Facilitate the organization and implementation of promotional events
Monitor and report competitors’ marketing and sales activities
Effectively manage multiple marketing responsibilities for the company
Produce marketing & advertising materials
Prepare reports on marketing and sales metrics
Manage the marketing budget
Write and edit press releases
Requirements:
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred
Experience Requirements
4+ years of experience in marketing or a related field
2+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Proficient in MS Office, web analytics, and Google AdWords
Proficiency with SEO/SEM campaigns
Possess knowledge of marketing digital tools & techniques
Knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
Working knowledge of CRM programs
Experience working in the defense industry is a plus
