We’re seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our passionate and agile team. This person will play an essential role in supporting our marketing efforts across social media, influencer relations, content creation, and campaign execution. Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, in-office position based in Carlsbad, CA.
Remote work or hybrid arrangements are not permitted for this role.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor employment visas.
Position Summary
As our Marketing Specialist, you’ll support day-to-day marketing initiatives, manage social media engagement, coordinate with partners and influencers, and help bring campaigns to life. This role is perfect for someone who has strong organizational skills, creativity, and a genuine interest in skincare and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Community Management
Assist with organic social media strategy and content planning across platforms.
Monitor all social channels, engage with our community, and respond to customer comments and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.
Stay current with social media trends and tools, suggesting timely content and engagement ideas.
Help maintain the social media calendar in alignment with product launches, promotions, and key campaigns.
Track and report on social metrics and audience insights to help optimize performance.
2. Content Creation
Assist in creating visual content, including static images, GIFs, and short-form videos using Canva.
Contribute to the development of creative assets for digital, email, and social channels.
Support limited copywriting for campaigns, posts, and product spotlights.
3. Campaign & Project Management
Coordinate multiple marketing projects simultaneously, supporting our internal team and external collaborators.
Help manage timelines and deliverables using Asana and ensure project milestones are met.
Assist in organizing and maintaining our campaign and content calendars.
4. Influencer & Partner Relations
Develop and manage relationships with influencers and brand advocates to drive visibility and engagement.
Support the ideation and execution of influencer marketing campaigns.
Help coordinate with key external partners such as PR agencies, paid media vendors, and creative consultants.
5. Team Support & Cross-Functional Communication
Collaborate across departments to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned and supported.
Assist with internal communication, asset approvals, and production tracking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is required.
2–3 years of experience in marketing or social media, preferably in beauty, skincare, or wellness.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
Clear and effective communicator—both written and verbal.
Skilled in Canva and familiar with social scheduling tools.
Comfortable using Asana or similar project management platforms.
Attention to detail and adaptability to shifting priorities.
Experience in email and SMS marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive, etc.) is a plus.
Nice to Have
A passion for skincare, aesthetics, and wellness.
Hands-on xperience with influencer campaigns.
Familiarity with platforms such Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Asana, Klaviyo, Drip, and Attentive.

Pay: $68,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
