Product Content Specialist

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Product Content Specialist—someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and methodical. If you thrive in roles involving data entry, SKU management, or product content coordination, this position offers the chance to work on the operational side of e-commerce and digital merchandising. You’ll be instrumental in helping our suppliers’ products appear accurately on retail platforms like AutoZone and Walmart, both in-store and online.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with spreadsheets, content systems, and vendor data—and who gets satisfaction from knowing their work keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do:
· Product Data Collection: Gather and organize product specifications from suppliers including GTINs, dimensions, features, benefits, and images for use across e-commerce and retail platforms.
· Content Management & Data Entry: Upload and maintain accurate product listings across multiple databases and customer-facing systems, ensuring timely updates and SKU accuracy.
· Standardization & Compliance: Format product data to meet platform-specific requirements while maintaining consistent, high-quality content.
· Website & Content QA: Regularly review retail websites to confirm that uploaded content displays properly and reflects current product details.
· Marketing Copy Support: Research and write clear, concise, and compelling product descriptions to enhance customer buying experience.
· Digital Merchandising: Assist with the visual presentation of product listings through image formatting, product photography, and e-commerce best practices.
· Customer-Facing Communication: Represent PSKB in a forward-facing role with retail partners or clients on occasion.
· Project & Deadline Management: Handle time-sensitive uploads, updates, and data-driven assignments with focus and accuracy.
Required Skills:
· Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
· Proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Excel (including VLOOKUP), Word, Outlook, and Access
· Effective communicator with both written and verbal skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
· Comfortable working in a structured, office-based environment
· Quick to learn new data management systems and digital platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
· Equivalent experience in retail product content, digital merchandising, or e-commerce operations
· Familiarity with ACES and PIES automotive data standards
· Knowledge of SEMA Data Co-Op and AutoCare Association specifications
· Previous experience in product marketing, catalog coordination, or e-commerce product listing
· Understanding of automotive or hardware product lines
· Basic skills in photo editing, image formatting, or light graphic work
