We are seeking a Digital Engagement Specialist with expertise in Braze to lead the development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel member engagement campaigns. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying communications across email, push, in-app messaging, and SMS to drive activation, retention, and engagement for our healthcare solutions.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, data-driven, and skilled in marketing automation, with a strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution & Optimization:
Build and launch targeted, automated campaigns and canvases in Braze across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
Optimize engagement flows, A/B test messaging, and ensure campaigns are effective and scalable.
Implement dynamic content and personalization strategies based on member data and behaviors.
Segmentation & Personalization:
Develop audience segmentation strategies to deliver relevant, personalized member experiences.
Leverage Braze’s Connected Content, Liquid scripting, and AI-based recommendations to enhance personalization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, customer success, and analytics teams to align messaging and objectives.
Partner with designers and copywriters to ensure campaigns maintain brand consistency and meet accessibility guidelines.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Analyze campaign performance using Braze reports, Google Analytics, and internal data dashboards to optimize engagement strategies.
Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure all campaigns adhere to HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and other regulatory requirements in healthcare communications.
Stay up to date on Braze best practices and industry trends to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM communications, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or wellness industries.
Hands-on experience with Braze (or similar customer engagement platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or HubSpot).
Strong knowledge of audience segmentation, event-based triggers, and behavioral marketing automation.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and Liquid scripting for email personalization and dynamic content.
Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize based on insights.
Understanding of regulatory compliance in digital communications (HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, TCPA).
Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and data teams in a fast-paced environment.
For Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the salary range for this position is $70,000 to $92,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC.
