Title: Marketing Strategist
Reports To: Director of Sales and Marketing
Summary of Position:
Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify and reach potential markets. Lead the department to develop effective ways to gain market share
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Act as the point-person for developing, implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for the sales department,
· Deliver integrated marketing ideas that meet program/campaign performance goals, align with corporate initiatives, and capitalize on market trends and opportunities
· Develop, coordinate, and oversee programs and resource materials to assist the Sales team in meeting their annual objectives.
· Interact with the sales manager and our corporate marketing department to ensure brand and message consistency across marketing communications
· Set reasonable campaign goals and measures and communicate results to a cross functional audience
· Contribute to Tesmec USA’s online presence with innovative campaign ideas.
· Consistently generate new marketing ideas, balancing those that drive revenue, new customers, and brand affinity
· Travel as required up to 25% of the time
· Attend staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services.
· Forecast and track marketing and sales trends to identify potential customers
· Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
· Identify, plan, organize and attend trade shows, demos, and other company functions.
· Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction.
· Assist in other areas when needed or as directed by management.
· Contribute to advertising, email, and mail campaigns. Manage Social Media campaigns.
Qualifications:
· Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
· Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
· Managing processes; organization; analyzing Information; professionalism; problem solving; verbal communication.
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret correspondence and documents.
· Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
· Take the initiative and complete project assignments independently and on time.
· Proficient in MS Office and other computer software.
· Ability to travel at least 25% or as required.
Preferred Skills:
· Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, marketing, mathematics, economics, research, statistics or other related fields.
· Multilingual – French and Spanish helpful, Italian strongly desired.
