Mission

Provides marketing support for the brands. Responsible for internal / external communications, organizational tasks, graphic design and tradeshow coordination. Maintains department records and files. Updates electronic information as needed (website, sales tools, third party databases). Manages other assigned tasks with department priorities in mind. Works in coordination with other Marketing functions as needed.

Principle Activities

Directly manage development of price lists, purchase programs, product literature, new product release packages, and website, ensuring effective promotion of Scotsman brand and timely delivery to the marketplace
Create specification sheets, flyers, tradeshow collateral, presentations, email templates and other marketing collateral
Assist with and coordinate on making website updates and changes
Assist in updating and maintaining online tools – resource center, distributor locator updates, Scotsman Print on Demand site and Scotsman Merchandise Site
Monitor and respond to marketing emails and website comment box inquiries
Proofread dealer advertisements and marketing material for accurate product and brand information
Maintain and update company collateral to corporate templates
Communicate and coordinate projects with external vendors Web developers, video production, industry publications, and translators
Assist with receipt collecting and allocating marketing funds on a monthly basis. Track marketing budget
Track inventory of marketing premiums, literature, banners, and tradeshow accessories
Manage planning, coordination, and logistics for trade shows, conventions and meetings. Make recommendations to VP of Marketing on layout, format, and opportunities for improvement related to Scotsman presence at events
Coordinate conference logistics including registering booth space and attendee badges, booking hotel accommodations, shipping marketing materials to and from shows, and creating show summaries for the Sales Team
Handle and manage all outside requests for marketing support from sales channel partners
Other duties as assigned

Fulfill the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position.
Conduct in accordance with the Company code of ethics policy at all times.

Education / Experience

BA/BS degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Graphic Arts Design or related field
3-5 or more years of related work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledgeable in graphic arts software programs (Adobe Creative Suite), with wide ranging knowledge and capability of latest technology pertaining to primary job requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
Familiarity with Constant Contact and / or Survey Monkey a plus
Familiarity with video editing and photography a plus
Experience with website HTML coding and Content Management Systems a plus
Experience with administration of social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram)
High level of energy and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines
Highly creative and open to share new ideas and modify work based on team feedback
Team oriented in approach and interactive with others
Demonstrated capacity to take on greater responsibilities as needed
Excellent attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills

Office and Travel Work

Local travel required (10%). Limited overnight travel required (5%).

Must be able to work in Scotsman office 5 days per week
