JOB SUMMARY:

As an Associate Retail Marketing Specialist at Fanatics this role supports the development and oversight of exclusive collegiate partner marketing plans including budget management and tracking consumer products for a specific brand or league across Fanatics Brands. Partners with internal and external partners and departments to accomplish tasks and projects. This role also supports plans for retail partners inclusive of key launches, ongoing support, development and distribution of marketing materials.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting with the development of custom strategies and support plans for retail partners including key product launches, ongoing brand support, development, and distribution of marketing materials
Support the annual “Declaration Days” marketing campaign
Communicate professionally and effectively all marketing strategies and updates to university and retail partners
Assisting in the development and support of on-site or virtual promotional activations for university and retail partners
Supporting hot market opportunities including seasonal and rapid response activations
Preparing presentations, deck building and materials development
Partnering with sales team to identify new marketing opportunities
Collaborating with internal and external departments to accomplish tasks and projects
Oversee third-party retail merchandising programs
Possible travel which includes marketing team activations, meetings and tradeshows

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

1-3 years of experience in retail a plus.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change, and maintain composure under pressure. Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards team, vendors, and clients
Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Detail oriented.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead 3rd party vendors on site and provide directions to ensure successful installation and activations.
Moderate skill level in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with data warehouses and database management
Sports fan a plus
Ability to travel up to 25% of the job
