Job description
Consumer Attorney Marketing Group (“CAMG”) is a media agency based in California that combines media buying expertise, industry experience and intensive analytics to deliver the most effective TV, radio, and digital campaigns for the legal industry. We are currently accepting applications for a Media Buyer to work remotely.
Summary/Objective:
Local direct response buyers are expected to leverage their analytical nature, media agency background, and vendor relationships to implement client plans effectively. The role requires strong negotiating skills, responsive communication skills, and an ability to think critically and strategically to ensure the success of our media campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Negotiate best rates with media vendors
Ensure buys adhere to buying guidelines, strict clearance goals, and provide strong rationale for any deviations
Secure added value, when appropriate, and ensure that schedules air accordingly
Maintain media schedules on a daily basis, checking pre-logs and post-logs weekly
Reporting and tracking budgets to ensure accuracy
Bring innovative thinking and new ideas to the team
Develop a working knowledge of the client’s goals, guidelines, and strategies
Executing and sending orders, confirming schedules, monitoring and maintaining media vendor relations
Qualifications/Experience
2-4 years of media buying experience within agency and/or client environment required
Must have experience buying local broadcast TV and Radio, local Cable & CTV/OTT
Exceptional negotiation skills
Must possess exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, organizational and interpersonal skills
Must have strong written and oral communication skills
Able to work with teams and independently, handle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines under pressure
Excellent work ethic, detail-oriented, organized, and consistent follow through
Proficient technical skills required and experience with key programs (Core, Strata, SRDS) strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
