Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Marketing Manager to help support our account marketing efforts and to assist with client servicing. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, with a focus in construction being a plus, and will already be a licensed P&C Insurance Broker in the state of New York. This role requires analytical thinking, a desire to learn, and strong collaboration skills- you will be an integral part of a small team, working directly with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and the President to deliver results, together.
Responsibilities
Create and execute marketing and remarketing plans for new and existing clients to pursue the best quotes available for various lines of business with both admitted and non-admitted markets, with assistance along the way
Assist clients with servicing needs including endorsement requests, evidence of insurance needs, billing questions, and audit issues
Act as a liaison between the clients and carriers to ensure quotes are prepared accurately, in a timely manner, and at a competitive price
Help manage renewal timeline of existing clientele to ensure seamless renewal processes by getting out ahead of potential issues
Skills
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite is required
Familiarity with Agency Management Systems, especially Hawksoft
Solid time management and communication skills; this is a small, highly collaborative environment
Customer service skills are key as there will be significant client and carrier interaction
Desired Experience
One to Two (1-2) years of Property & Casualty Insurance experience with an active NY P&C Broker License
