You’ll be a strategic storyteller supporting our business to business (B2B) Cargo marketing initiatives as well as our engagement with customers and team members.
This job is a member of the Cargo Customer Experience team within the Cargo Division.
What you’ll do

Works closely with Cargo stakeholders to craft impactful communications and marketing plans that engage new and existing customers and drive product awareness and conversion
Manages digital channels for American Airlines Cargo including aacargo.com and LinkedIn, and analyzes performance and identifies new channel opportunities
Identifies the ideal channels and vehicles to communicate with customers and media
Creates and presents well-communicated plans and results to all stakeholders
Manages external copywriters and creative agencies when necessary
Coordinates with Corporate Communications on content planned for extended coverage in mainstream/local markets and internally, as appropriate
Must be willing to travel when needed for busines
All you’ll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing, advertising, communications or journalism) or equivalent experience/training
3+ years of marketing or communications experience or relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Knowledge of digital communication channels
Proven experience with B2B email marketing and campaign execution
Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce
Understanding of lead generation and nurturing
Experience with paid media campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads or similar solutions
Copywriting experience
Strong presentation skills and familiarity with PowerPoint
Familiarity with Eloqua or similar email marketing platforms
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Solid understanding of digital media including KPIs and measurement
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of AP Style
Ability to lead tasks, manage processes, analyze and problem-solve
Strong team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a group with all levels of the organization
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research issues to determine root cause
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere while working under pressure and meeting critical deadlines effectively, efficiently and independently
