Job Overview:
Academian Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Foundation of Marketing for a 3-month contract position. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in marketing principles and practices, particularly within K-12 or eLearning environments. You will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing educational content, developing new lessons, and creating assessments to align with modern educational standards and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design and develop a comprehensive Foundation of Marketing curriculum that meets educational standards and aligns with learning objectives.
Lesson Plan Finalization: Collaborate with the instructional team to finalize lesson plans that effectively communicate core concepts in marketing fundamentals.
Content Review & Gap Analysis: Perform thorough reviews of existing marketing content to identify gaps or areas for improvement, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and strategies.
New Content Creation: Develop new materials to address knowledge gaps or update outdated information, ensuring relevance to current marketing practices.
Assessment Creation: Create assessments to evaluate students’ understanding and mastery of foundational marketing topics.
Relevant Example Writing: Provide real-world examples and case studies to enhance the learning experience and facilitate comprehension of marketing concepts.
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience in K-12 or eLearning environments.
Master’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
Excellent writing and editing skills for creating clear and concise educational materials.
Knowledge of assessment design and best practices for evaluating student performance.
Strong analytical skills for content reviews and gap analysis.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, independently or collaboratively.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience as a Subject Matter Expert or Instructional Designer in an academic or educational setting.
Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in marketing practices
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
