Responsibilities:
– Provide music and entertainment for various events, including weddings, parties, and corporate functions
– Create playlists and mix music to ensure a seamless flow of songs
– Set up and operate DJ equipment, including sound systems, microphones, and lighting
– Interact with guests and take song requests
– Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the event
– Coordinate with event organizers to ensure the music selection aligns with the theme or atmosphere of the event
Qualifications:
– Experience as a DJ or in a related field is preferred but not required
– Extensive knowledge of different music genres and the ability to mix songs smoothly
– Strong communication skills to interact with clients and guests
– Ability to handle heavy lifting when setting up and transporting equipment
Please note that this position requires working weekends and holidays as that is when most events take place. Events are scheduled 6-18 months in advance on average so if you are good with planning things far in advance, this would be a great fit for you.

Pay: $250.00 – $650.00 per day
