SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Ideal candidate would live in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin

Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. Work with buying and sales teams to increase sales and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage Ready-to-Drink (RTD) tea, Alcohol, and take home business; set and monitor sales targets.

Manage multi-million case C & P customers.

Work in tandem with field personnel; create assortment, pricing, promotional strategies, etc.

Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs.

Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.

Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring client’s requirements are met.

Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.

Ensure brand consistency.

Collect and analyze sales data and trends.

Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.

Liaise with sales and marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products.

Stay up-to-date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.

Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

7+ years experience in beverage sales (alcohol sales a plus)

Demonstrate ability and experience in Manager, National and Regional C&P Chains

Experience with market retailers (Caseys, Cefco, Maverick, Circle K Northern Tier, Kwik Trip)

Knowledge of Beverage IRI and VIP experience necessary

Experience in forecasting, sales planning and financial reporting

Ability to travel within a region

Proven successes in delivering sales goals and objectives

Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships with distributors and accounts

Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, time management and presentation skills required

Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client’s requirements

In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics

MBA a plus

Buyers, Sales Team, when required or necessary

Home Office, on the road
