About You
As an On-Premise Brand Development Manager (BDM) you will be accountable for creating value through driving sales and developing strong relationships with key accounts and distributor sales representatives in your region. You are a high motor, high energy salesperson that is passionate about Tequila and Agave spirits. You will help define the legacy of Lobos 1707 by delivering On Premise growth in your territory. You are passionate about and have a deep understanding of the On-Premise segment, and your ability to develop strategic account relationships will be key to your success in this role.
Position Overview
The BDM is a full-time role. This position plays a critical role in the growth of the company’s portfolio of brands. You will be responsible for managing a key account deck of 100 On Premise accounts within your territory. You will be required to attain key KPI’s including but not limited to achieving new distribution, On Premise Drink Features, and Account Activations. You will also work closely with distributor sales reps in your territory and work alongside them to develop Lobos’s presence throughout the territory with the purpose of delivery upon growth targets in both depletions and accounts sold. At times you will be required to work evenings and weekends to activate the brand. The On-Premise BDM Chicago Metro will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager – Central.
Key Responsibilities
Build effective longterm relationships with strategic customers/distributor partners to drive sales growth and deliver impact from customer and consumer programs.
Ride with distributor sales representatives at least once per week, providing the opportunity to represent the Lobos 1707 portfolio, train distributor salespeople, observe market activity and evaluate distributor execution against our initiatives.
Building on our culture you will collaborate crossfunctionally across the organization (e.g. Finance, Customer Marketing, Marketing National Retail Sales, Manufacturing, etc.) for support on sales efforts.
You will make at least 80 unique account visits per month from your Key Account Deck with the purpose of selling in new distribution and programs that will deliver positive ROI and sales growth above markets goal %.
Meet with key onpremise accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working relationships. Present Lobos 1707 brands, work toward achieving increased volumes and lead the distributor in attaining our objectives.
Lead meetings with key accounts; present Lobos 1707 products and services by understanding the customer’s business processes, plans, needs and critical success factors by demonstrating understanding of competitive landscape through trends and data.
Execute at key local events and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy, including the execution of national initiatives in the local market, which often occur in the evening or on weekends.
Track all activities and consistently submit activity reports in a proprietary reporting tool to include KPI progress, account visits, trainings, wins, competitive activities, and special projects.
Actively participate in promotions and events, which often occur in the evenings or on weekends.

You will ideally have a minimum of 12 years of experience working in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry either as a supplier, at a distributor, or behind the bar
You can effectively manage your time and prioritize goals and opportunities.
You are computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and can use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet
