Job Description
As a Director of Marketing, you will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and be responsible for proposing and implementing a full suite of marketing strategies to build awareness about the hotel and promote customer loyalty.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work collaboratively with our website and social media partner to ensure our Brand Message and relevant information is shared.
Oversee and manage hotel social media on channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and others as the need arises, ensuring imagery and copy is consistent with the identity and positioning of each.
Utilize current reporting from agencies, Google Analytics and social networks to drive improved content and social marketing initiatives and decisions. Analyze KPI’s to ensure strategy has strong ROI and make recommendations as needed.
Work with TravelClick to develop GDS Campaigns and Advertising.
Manage online presence with an emphasis on creating unique and engaging content for branded hotel website and third-party sites
Work with Director of Revenue to review need periods for rooms sales and develop digital strategies proactively to achieve desired results.
Work with IHG to ensure that hotel website is optimized using current best practices for SEO
Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place
Manage promotional packages/campaigns including requesting creative, drafting the communication plan, and sending a marketing recap once completed
Develops and organizes promotional activities, coordinates with departments concerned; invites VIPs and media to promotional activities; prepares and issues press releases
Establishes a program for sending promotional news to trade publications on a regular basis releases covering special events, promotions, etc.
Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
Work with Sales team to develop content for Presentations and Collateral
Co host bi weekly Hotel Marketing meeting to have robust plans built out on activations – both internally, digital channels and utilizing on property resources.
Assist hotel with various communication including collaterals, signages, eblasts, etc.
Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
Development of promotional concepts for hotel(s) as needed to fill low levels of occupancy, food and beverage sales and expand awareness of on-site recreational activities.
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree/ higher education qualification, four or more years of experience in Marketing
Excellent writing and editing skills
Digital Experience – using Google Analytics
Understanding of Website development and maintenance
Strong understanding of graphic design, traditional and online marketing
Hotel property experience, hotel field marketing experience, or equivalent
Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Desktop Publishing Tools, Acute Vision, and ability to professionally handle concept/project revision.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
