Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Client Acquisition Manager to join our team as a senior sales professional. In this role, you will drive the growth of our flagship product, Rich Dealers®, by acquiring new clients within the automotive dealership industry using your expertise and established network.
Important Note:
We are specifically seeking candidates with direct experience selling products or services TO automobile dealerships. Experience working inside dealerships (e.g., as a sales manager) is valuable but not sufficient unless paired with outside sales experience targeting dealerships as clients. If you’ve worked for vendors selling to dealerships, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through our marketing initiatives, trade shows, and your personal network.
Deliver compelling remote and occasional on-site presentations to Dealer Principals and General Managers, demonstrating the value of Rich Dealers®.
Engage decision-makers with smart, targeted questions to build trust and uncover opportunities.
Generate interest, negotiate, and close deals with new clients.
Meet reasonable weekly and monthly goals while tracking progress with established metrics.
Manage your sales pipeline using our customized CRM.
Leverage your existing relationships in the automotive dealership industry to accelerate lead generation and deal closures.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience selling marketing tools, programs, software, or services directly TO automotive dealerships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong work ethic, initiative, positive attitude, and high energy.
Openness to learn and adaptability to try new approaches.
Experience using an online CRM.
Persistence to overcome challenges and meet quotas.
Successful Client Acquisition Managers Have:
Extensive experience selling products or services TO automobile dealerships, with a robust network of industry contacts.
Genuine empathy for customers and their needs.
Background in prospecting and selling advertising or consulting services.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
