One Community Church is in search of a Communications Coordinator to join our team. The Communications Coordinator will organize, plan, and implement effective communications messages and strategies for One Community Church.
Job Duties:
Write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, email, website copy, and brochures
Assist communications team in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further company objectives
Create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies
Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices
Promote and Communicate and other promotional events to help keep the organization top of mind
Coordinate volunteers, support staff, vendors and more to support promotional events
Build systems to recruit, train and install new volunteers
Set up weekly meeting rhythm to connect with volunteers
Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to partner with Pillar leads to communicate events
Experience managing deadlines and changing priorities
An analytical mind and ability to think critically
Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Intermediate experience with Google Suite and Canva
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or similar field preferred and/OR 5 years of communications experience
